challenge #2 - projector & laptop

i set up the projector & laptop for a staff meeting where i gave a refresher on ebscohost. i will have an audience member email about how the refresher went/confirm that i actually did it?

challenge #1

it doesn't look like the overdrive software is compatible with a mac OS... only windows - not that i would install it on my computer if i could. i'm sure listenNJ is a great resource ocl offers for customers - i just can't get into it, like - it's not my thing i guess. i don't know why, because i used to love recorded books. it's just in the past couple of years that i haven't enjoyed listening to any. i didn't want to muck up my ipod with a book from listenNJ, but i didn't want to bother with the mp3players from the last webchallenge either... so i used my own. i wanted beyond the crease because ocl doesn't have a copy anymore (and it's hockey season finally!!) but it's not on listenNJ. so i looked for a learning spanish title - but the only ipod compatible one has a waiting list - it seemed most things i looked for had a waiting list. almost all the teen titles are classics, which doesn't make sense to me. if i'm a teen and looking for teen titles, i'd search under teens. if i were a teen looking for classics, i'd search under .... classics!

i opened a new email address & started this blog, and i've emailed all the details to the address we were given at friday's meeing.

can hardly wait to get to listenNJ, again

again! again!

i was thinking about hockey when i picked the title for this blog - so from miracle, when the coach has the team on the ice after one of their european? pre olympic games, and the team has to skate from one line to the other and back - coach says, "again" and the assistant blows the whistle - over and over, if you haven't watched miracle yet, i highly recommend it. and, again - is kind of like this *web challenge* - again!
